Number two. Never first in line.

Yet, so much more to come — in later months.

It’s the shortest. But has a lot to offer. A month of — black history, love, heartbreak, and individuals who only get a birthday once every four years.

This year I have sent goals — not resolutions.

I started writing every day since I have targets for myself on my writing goals. However, in the meantime, I continued writing but not on the one area aligned with my largest goal.

After taking a step back to review, I shifted my efforts. Waking up early each day — well, most days to write before anyone else is up. To work toward my goals. It’s quite, peaceful, and lonely work but in order to meet my goals, it must be done.

With the shift, I haven’t been posting daily or weekly self-help tips. But today, I posted a concise “February” post, which I presented in my monthly writing group. I hope this brings a smile or a laugh.
